Coronavirus All activities at Canterbury Salvation Army have been suspended as we seek to prevent the spread of the virus through gathering together. This includes Sunday worship. However, Toddler Bank and the Annexe drop-in centre are still in limited operation. Please contact us for more information.

Our Sunday services form an important part of our church life. They are a chance for us all to get together and worship God, to pray and to reflect on the Bible. We hold two services in our hall on Whitehorse Lane on a Sunday; we’d love you to join us for one or both of our services.

10am – Morning service

Our Sunday morning services include a variety of music – some upbeat, some reflective, some traditional and some contemporary – with items from our brass band, Songsters, YP band and Singing Company, as well as hymns. We spend some time in prayer, some time thinking about God’s word – and there are fun things for children too.

5.30pm – Evening event

We have a different style to our evening services depending on which week of the month it is:

Other activities happen on Sundays too! Visit this page for the full programme.
